Technology.
Applied with Purpose.
Better training starts with better information. We combine advanced sports science technology with expert coaching to measure performance, identify opportunities, and make more informed training decisions.
Explore Our Technology ↘Game-time decisions start in training.
Training decisions shouldn't rely on guesswork alone. We use athlete testing, individual baselines, training history, and coach observations to better understand performance and determine what deserves attention.
VALD ForceDecks
Monitor jump height and force-time characteristics to understand changes in lower-body performance. When appropriate, repeat jump testing can inform daily training decisions and help coaches identify meaningful changes from an athlete's baseline.
VALD ForceFrame
Assess isometric strength in selected positions, including hip abduction and adduction and shoulder internal and external rotation. Findings help guide lower-body strength, shoulder arm-care routines, and targeted isometric work where appropriate.
VALD NordBord
Quantify eccentric hamstring strength during the Nordic hamstring exercise and compare results between legs. Findings can help guide Nordic progressions, sprint preparation, and targeted hamstring strengthening. Asymmetries are interpreted in context, not treated as injury predictions.
Electronic Timing Gates
Record 10-meter and 20-meter sprint times to assess acceleration and short-distance sprint performance. The 5-10-5 shuttle provides a separate measure of change-of-direction performance. Maximum-velocity assessment requires an appropriate sprint distance and testing setup.
Proteus Motion
Evaluate force, speed, and power during multidirectional resistance exercises. For rotational athletes, selected protocols can help track rotational output and changes in power production over time.
Data-Driven Coaching
Testing is the starting point. Our coaches interpret results alongside sport demands, training history, symptoms, and movement quality to prioritize training and evaluate progress.
Train the athlete in front of you.
Prescribed weight is only one part of the equation. With Flex Stronger, we can use barbell velocity alongside load, technique, and the day's training goals to help guide intensity and progression.
Every rep gives us information.
Bar speed provides real-time feedback on how an athlete is moving a load. Our coaches can use that information to help adjust the session, manage fatigue, and keep training aligned with the athlete's current phase of development.
It's not about lifting heavy every day. It's about applying the right training stimulus at the right time.
Use measured bar speed alongside load and exercise technique to help select an appropriate working intensity for the day's goal.
Observe changes in bar speed across sets and reps to help determine when to maintain the load, adjust it, or modify the session.
Adjust training volume and intensity around competition schedules, recovery demands, and the need to maintain strength and power.
Progress training toward strength, power, or speed-strength goals while monitoring how the athlete responds to prescribed loads.
Compare performance under consistent testing conditions to help evaluate changes in strength and power over time.
Connect velocity feedback to each athlete's training phase, goals, experience, and coaching plan instead of relying on a generic prescription.
Build capacity for the demands of sport.
Athletes need more than a single test score. We develop strength, landing control, sprint capacity, and the ability to accelerate and decelerate. Assessment findings help us decide which physical qualities deserve additional attention.
- Hamstring eccentric strength
- Hip strength and asymmetry context
- Shoulder internal and external rotation strength
- Targeted overcoming isometrics
- Jump and landing performance
- Progressive deceleration training
- Gradual exposure to sprinting and cutting
- Evidence-informed ACL risk-reduction training
Testing is a process, not a one-time event.
A baseline gives us a starting point. Follow-up testing helps us understand how an athlete responds to training and whether key physical qualities are changing over time.
Build a baseline
Assess relevant strength, jump, sprint, or power qualities with repeatable testing protocols.
Guide the training
Use results alongside athlete feedback and coaching observations to set priorities.
Track meaningful change
Repeat selected measures monthly or biweekly when appropriate for the athlete and assessment.
Bring the team. Measure the difference.
KOF can organize structured team testing sessions that give coaches a clearer picture of group strengths, individual development needs, and performance across selected tests.
A structured testing experience built around your team's sport, schedule, and goals. Select stations based on the qualities you want to assess.
10m and 20m sprint timing, plus the 5-10-5 shuttle for change-of-direction performance.
ForceDecks jump testing and selected strength assessments to profile physical qualities.
Selected Proteus, ForceFrame, or NordBord assessments based on athlete needs and event goals.
Understand the group
Summarize team results across the tests included in the combine.
Recognize individual needs
Review individual results and identify potential areas for further development.
Turn results into action
Use findings to help guide future training priorities and follow-up testing.
Your program. Your progress. Your plan.
Testing tells us where an athlete is today. TeamBuildr Training helps us organize the work that moves them forward. Athletes can access their prescribed training while coaches manage programming and update progression over time.
Coaching doesn't stop when the session ends.
We use TeamBuildr to deliver training programs, communicate progression, and keep athletes connected to their plan. Programming is built around the athlete's goals, training phase, schedule, and needs.
Training plans built around the athlete, their goals, and the demands of their sport.
Coaches update training prescriptions as the athlete progresses through the program.
Access prescribed exercises and available instructions to support training outside coached sessions.
Keep training organized and review completed work and progression over time.
Adjust training priorities to reflect competition schedules, recovery demands, and development goals.
Keep programming connected to coaching decisions rather than relying on a generic template.
Train for the demands of your sport.
The right assessment depends on the athlete. We select testing and training priorities based on sport demands, position, training history, and the physical qualities the athlete needs to develop.
- Baseball & Softball
Rotational power, shoulder strength, sprint performance - Volleyball & Basketball
Jump performance, force production, landing capacity - Field Sports
Acceleration, sprint speed, change of direction - All Athletes
Strength, physical preparation, ongoing development
Better information. Better training decisions.
Advanced technology gives us another way to understand the athlete. Expert coaching turns that information into purposeful training, ongoing development, and measurable progress.
Start With an Assessment ↗Testing supports coaching decisions but cannot predict or prevent every injury. Training and return-to-sport decisions should also consider athlete history, symptoms, clinical guidance when appropriate, and sport-specific demands.
